Essex League Dukes League Cup
Quarter-Final
Chingford reached the last four of the League Cup on Sunday with a six-wicket win over Hadleigh and Thundersley.
After losing the toss, Chingford made easy work of ripping through the Hadleigh line-up, with Ben MacGregor (three for 26), Matthew Smith (three for 32) and Mubasher Hassan (two for 18) to the fore.
Fleeting resistance from Luke Smith (39) in the middle order was not enough and Hadleigh were all out for a pitiful 98.
In reply, Chingford made 101 for four, with Alfie Taylor (28), Ben MacGregor (29 not out) and Andrew MacGregor (13 not out) supplying the runs needed for victory.
