STEVEN Gerrard has claimed Arsenal should be worried about his Liverpool side ahead of Wednesday's Champions' League tie at the Emirates.

The Liverpool skipper represents one of the main threats to the Gunners defence, as his goal against Arsene Wenger's men at Anfield earlier on in the season proved. And the dynamic midfielder is in bullish mood ahead of the all-Premier League affair.

"We're a good side in Europe and we're always confident no matter who we come up against that we are going to qualify," he declared. "I think the other teams are more worried about us because we've proved that we're one of the best teams in the competition."

Liverpool travel to the Emirates in high spirits following a derby day victory over bitter rivals Everton, but Gerrard accepts that it will be an altogether different challenge posed by Arsenal.

"We know it will be a really tough game on Wednesday but now we will be going into the game with confidence," he continued.

"The two Champions League games against them are going to be different to the league game we have there, because of course, it is a cup competition and not for three points.

"But we know we are in for two difficult games against Arsenal."
