MEDIA sources claims Arsenal have handed a trial to Greek wonderkid Nikos Karelis.
While the Ergotelis' striker is still only 16, he has reportedly impressed Gunners scouts enough to have been invited to London for a trial.
Karelis, who became the youngest player to play in a Greek Super League game when facing Zanthi at the weekend, is reported to have joined the squad as Steve Gatting's Under 16s flew out to Italy this morning to take part in the Atalanta Cup.
"I know that it will be very difficult to start with but I am going there to succeed," Karelis told Sports 24.
"Even if I don't make it, I think I'll gain lots of useful experience that will help me improve in the future."
