THE postponement of the Sheffield United game was horrible.

You prepare yourself all week for the game on Saturday, so to turn up and find a frozen pitch is very strange.

We ended up with the whole day to ourselves and we did not know what to do with it.

I had the most boring day ever. I just went home and chilled out. I had Sky Sports on and just watched the other results coming in.

I got to the fourth round of the FA Cup with Dagenham & Redbridge when they were non-league.

It was a really good achievement for the team. We ended up losing to Norwich in the 90th minute, so we didn't disgrace ourselves.

It was nice to be in the draw for the fourth round this time, but it would have been better if we had played.

I have no clue whether I'll be on the field on Saturday against Leicester. They're flying at the moment, doing really well. They have the players and the resources and are on the crest of a wave.

We played them earlier this season and, although we lost, we competed very well with them. I played a good game and I think they'll have a bit of respect for us.

It's difficult when you're not playing regularly. I'm no different from every player in that I want to play in every game, but that's part and parcel of football.

The team's been performing ok recently. I know the results over Christmas weren't good, but the players in my position have been doing ok.

Last year, I was very lucky and I played 49 games. Then I was keeping someone out of the team who probably felt like I do now. It happens.

The manager names his name on Friday and we'll go from there.

We're up against the best team in the league right now, and so it’s a game for which you should not need anyone to motivate you.

Next week, I hope I’ll be able to tell you how you handle a player like Matt Fryatt.

He's been in great form all season. Yes, he's in a good team, but you still need to put the chances away. Hopefully he'll get transferred before Saturday.

If we apply ourselves, we know we have a chance of causing an upset.

We're also confident for the Sheffield United game. We have a chance of beating them and, if we do, it's Charlton or Norwich next.

It's a massive game, but, before that, we have another massive game against Leicester, and so for now we have to put the FA Cup to the back of our mind.
