We under-performed against Leicester, it was not very good at all.
Credit to Leicester, they are a very good side and any team that goes to the Walkers Stadium will find it very hard. But we didn’t impose ourselves upon them.
We tried to stick to our game plan as much as possible, even after the early goal, because the more you chase the game the more a side like Leicester will pick you off.
To be fair, the first two goals were sloppy and came from mistakes, so it was always difficult. Luckily we had the FA Cup game to try and rectify it.
It was frustrating to be watching that from the bench, as it is whenever I’m not playing. But the boss picks the team. He decides who goes on and who doesn’t and there’s nothing I can do about it. I want to play but it’s not happening, it’s not my time.
I want to turn that around and prove that I can be part of this team.
The banter was not exactly flying around the team coach after the Leicester game. It was a quiet journey home. I don’t care that they’re top of the league, losing that game ruins your weekend and it can ruin your week as well.
So it's important not to dwell on it because if you do that you will only head one way, downwards. We will get ourselves out of this trouble we’re in.
I didn’t hear what a fan said after the Leicester game, but it’s not nice when fans are slagging you off. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion and they pay their money, but as a team we much prefer to them behind us.
We don’t go out there and deliberately try and lose, we give it 100 per cent every time we pull on the Orient shirt and try to work ourselves to the limit for a result.
Although a few seem to think otherwise, the is not one player on the pitch on Saturday who didn’t give all they had.
Under Martin Ling, Orient have improved season on season. When he took over I think Orient were in the bottom two, and he saved them from relegation and then won promotion after that.
Last season was good, all in all. All right, this season has not been too god for us, and its at times like this that you need your supporters behind you. They give us a massive lift.
On to Saturday and Bristol Rovers will be very hard work. Paul Trollope has got them playing the way he likes. They get in your face and make things hard. I’ve had enough battles with them.
We know we can them and we have the confidence. We have got a winning mentality, the boss and his staff have it so it’s just a case of getting that going again.
I’ve not seen the piece in the press about me and Luton. I’m not looking to leave Orient, but you never know what’s around the corner. If the manager wants to get rid of me, there’s nothing I can do.
I certainly don’t want to leave Orient, I want to help them out of this trouble. But I’m not in the papers much, so I’ll have to buy it!
