I saw quite a bit of the afters at Millwall. That's just them. As long as everyone on the Orient side came out okay, that's the main thing. That sort of thing is real. You only hear about it most of the time, but it is real. I think a few tried to get down the tunnel but someone wedged the door shut! Still you have to take it with as pinch of salt and get on with it.
I've had a pretty slow week so far after coming back from my injury. I've been taking a few precautions and haven't trained on a couple of days in order to spare my ankle.
But the intensity of training is still very high, even though we're safe. That's the manager's method, he still expects us to be working hard. It's all about up keeping up your fitness and it also means you won't have to work so hard over the summer.
The holidays can be dangerous if you get in-disciplined because you can just sit around, do what you want and eat what you want. I remember one time, Craig Easton returned carrying quite a bit of extra, and he got some stick for that! But Craig is a very fit player and he lost it quick. Myself, I have a high metabolism and seem to burn it all off as I'm sitting there eating it. I'm quite lucky in a way: round the clock Nando's for me. Seriously, I like to think I'm very professional, and the boys in the team are too. So we'll probably just have a couple of weeks off after Saturday.
Our form is stop-start at the moment. I don't want to say the team has lifted its foot off the pedal, but even when you give it your all you know that you are safe.
But the boss doesn't let us rest, so I just don't know what it is. Things can just go against you sometimes. I think I should have pushed up a bit for their second goal, but Millwall have a lot to play for, and they had quite a bit of luck.
We've had our own luck too, and we rode it a few times too. There's been a couple saves by Jonesy which I don't know how he made. The Leeds game is an example. But we needed the point there and we got it, and it could have been totally different on another day.
As for the relegation fight, my instinct is that Northampton and Carlisle will drop. It's all on that big final day.
