HIGHLY rated Josh Scott has joined Dagenham & Redbridge from Hayes & Yeading United.
The 23-year-old striker hit 25 goals in 34 games helped the west Londoners to promotion from the Blue Square South last season.
Scott came through the Hayes youth system making his debut for the Missioners first team in the 2003/04 season.
Since then he has scored 79 goals in 177 appearances for the Church Road side, finishing top scorer in the past two seasons.
Daggers boss John Still is hoping Scott can help plug the gaps left by the departures of striker Ben Strevens, winger Sam Saunders and defender Danny Foster to Brentford.
Defender Magnus Okuonghae and striker Paul Benson have also been linked with moves away from Victoria Road, while midfielder Matt Ritchie returned to Portsmouth, after a spell on loan.
Still has a good track record of spotting talent from the lower leagues and he has already completed the signing of Stuart Thurgood from Blue Square Premier Grays Athletic.
He also expects Bishop's Stortford winger Danny Green to sign by Wednesday, July 1.
