DAGENHAM & Redbridge made it ten goals in two games to soar to the top of League Two on Tuesday night.
Striker Paul Benson hit four as the Daggers thumped highly-fancied Shrewsbury Town 5-0 for their third win in three league games.
Ironically, Benson turned down a move to Shrewsbury in the summer.
The prolific hitman had completed his hat-trick by half-time, before rounding off the scoring. Scott Griffiths was also on target for the hosts.
Dagenham also hit five on Saturday, though visitors Torquay United did manafe three themselves.
It is a terrific start to the campaign for the Daggers, who many thought would struggle after losing so many of their top players in the summer.
But, as ever, manager John Still has unearthed some gems and, with Benson on top form, the Daggers have made a flying start.
It all makes Saturday's trip to Notts County, who went into last night's clash with Chesterfield also unbeaten and scoring for fun, a mouth-watering prospect.
