DAGENHAM & REDBRIDGE manager John Still insists his team were 'magnificent' during their 1-1 draw at Cheltenham on Saturday.
The Daggers are still amongst League Two's leaders in third place after the result.
Striker Paul Benson opened the scoring with a superb turn-and-shot that found the roof of the net, but Michael Townsend levelled just nine minutes from time with a header.
However, despite the late setback, Dagenham were on the back foot for the majority of the game. And Still chose to take the positives from the game.
"We had a disappointing week last week and normally the best teams respond to that,” he said afterwards. "I thought today was going to be a really tough game - and so it was.
"At 1-0 it could have two or three-nil, but they came on strong and bombarded us with long throws and corners, but I thought we stood up magnificently."
