DAGENHAM & REDBRIDGE'S hot streak shows no sign of slowing as John Still's men racked up their sixth win of the season away at Burton Albion.
An early Paul Benson strike – his eighth of the season – and a penalty save by Tony Roberts ensured the Daggers escaped the Pirelli Stadium with all three points.
The result has cemented the team in second place in League Two, just two points behind leaders Bournemouth.
Benson nipped in between goalkeeper and defender and poked home within four minutes, and that was to prove the only goal of the game.
However, the win didn't come without a scare, as Burton were awarded a penalty when Shaun Harrad was fouled in the box. He dusted himself off to take the kick, but Roberts was up to the challenge, saving brilliantly with his legs to deny the Brewers an equaliser.
