Hello readers, and welcome to the fans’ corner of your local Guardian's website.
I’m Norman and I have been following the Leyton Orient for longer than I care to remember.
In fact, I think the only supporter around for longer than me is elastic, the stuff which has held up the players’ shorts for so long. Oh yes.
From me each week you will get a very biased fan’s eye view of all things Orient.
The good and the very bad.
It’s a shame to begin this after a defeat to Colchester. They were long ball merchants, and most of those did not hit the target. But they were very well organised and very precise at corners, which is how they scored.
We have no midfield at all at the moment thanks to injuries and bans. That is a massive worry.
But I’m looking forward to the Brentford game this Saturday as I think lessons will have been learned.
Not all teams are like Colchester. We have played Brentford before and have been the better side too.
Their fans will be welcome in the Supporters club, if they pay their £1, as we’ve no problem with them.
And I would not extend such an invite to Leeds or Millwall!
