DAGENHAM & Redbridge midfielder Billy Bingham has put to pen to paper on a new deal that will keep him at Victoria Road until 2012.

The two-year extension is a reward for the promise the youngster has shown since joining the Daggers towards the end of last season.

“I like Billy a lot as a player and I'm very happy that he has agreed to a new deal,” manager John Still told the Barking & Dagenham Post. “We now have very fine group of young players at this club, with the likes of Billy, Graeme Montgomery, Wes Thomas, Steven Demetriou and Harlee Dean to name a few.

“If we can keep bringing them on, then I'm sure they will continue to do well for us.”
