Huddersfield Town 6
Dagenham & Redbridge 1
FA Cup round one
DAGENHAM & Redbridge were dumped unceremoniously out of the FA Cup by League One high-fliers Huddersfield yesterday.
Robbie Williams' put the hosts ahead after just nine minutes with a long-range free-kick, before winger Gary Roberts' header found the net.
Lee Novak and Jordan Rhodes finished from close range to put Town out of sight before half-time, and Novak was able to grab his second ten minutes after the interval. Roberts' second of the game made it six.
Paul Benson managed a consolation for the Daggers but it was a day to forget for John Still's men, who are flying high in third in League Two.
