Ryan Jarvis said the jeers of furious Orient fans after Tuesday's FA Cup woe were justified.
"They've got every right to (boo)" he admitted.
“If we're not picking up results they're going to start booing."
Jarvis was a second half substitute in the game against Tranmere Rovers.
The O's dominated whole swathes of the contest but lacked any firepower to make it count.
Rovers are back at Brisbane Road, on Saturday.
"The only way to put it right is with results on the pitch. At the moment, I'd rather win ugly and than play good football" he said.
“We've got to make sure we get three points on Saturday. They're down near the bottom with us and it's a massive game.”
