Dagenham & Redbridge 1
Rochdale 2
League Two
DAGENHAM & Redbridge relinquished their place at the top of League Two as they let a one goal lead slip to go down at home to Rochdale.
Peter Gain had put the Daggers ahead after just three minutes but two goals in two second-half minutes ensured Rochdale left Victoria Road with all three points.
The hosts looked a good bet to prolong their unbeaten record at home when Gain's header put them ahead.
But Kallum Higginbotham and Craig Dawson struck within two minutes of eachother midway through the second period.
Things got worse for the Daggers when Wesley Thomas was sent off for violent conduct.
John Still's men now sit third, behind Rochdale on goal difference, while Bournemouth have opened up a three-point advantage at the top of the league after they recorded a 2-1 win at Macclesfield.
