WALTHAM Abbey slipped back into the relegation mire after a dramatic 5-3 defeat at the hands of Harrow Borough.
There was plenty of to-ing and fro-ing throughout the game, with the Abbotts coming from behind to level on two occasions.
However, the hosts went on to score two more, to which the visitors had no answer.
Harry Elmes and James Elmes scored to make the score 2-2, before Billy Holland fired home to pull Abbey ahead.
But two further strikes proved enough to sink Abbey, leaving them third bottom in the Ryman Premier, having played up to four games more than some of their fellow strugglers.
Meanwhile, Waltham Forest produced an impressive display to hold Division One North leaders Great Wakering Rovers to a 2-2 draw at their adopted Cricklefield home.
Second half goals from Luke Stanley and Sham Darr secured the draw for the Stags on Saturday.
The result sees the team sitting comfortably in mid-table.
Elsewhere, Leyton will want to forget their trip to high-flying Lowestoft Town.
The Lilywhites were put to the sword, shipping eight goals on Saturday, in a result that leaves them fourth-bottom in the division.
