DAGGERS boss John Still admitted it was ‘disappointing’ to have succumbed to a late goal at Northampton on Boxing Day.
Dagenham conceded with just two minutes to go when substitute Billy McKay fired into the roof of the net after a goalmouth scramble.
Captain Mark Arber had earlier missed a penalty when he blasted over the bar after Andy Holt had handled in the box.
Still said: “It was disappointing to lose, we didn’t look like being defeated. They scored from about their only shot and the conditions were difficult.
“Away from home we have always been solid but we haven’t created too many opportunities.”
