DARREN CURRIE took his place on the Dagenham & Redbridge bench against Crewe Alexandra on Saturday after putting pen to paper on a permanent deal with the Daggers, following a two-month loan deal.
The 35-year-old has agreed terms on an 18-month contract and signs on a free transfer from Chesterfield.
Daggers boss John Still said: “With the young wingers we have in Danny Green, Graeme Montgomery and Steven Demetriou, he is also a fine example for them to learn from.”
Meanwhile, young full-back Alex Bentley has signed for Bishop's Stortford on a month's loan deal.
Striker Mark Nwokeji has also been snapped up by Luton on loan until the end of the season.
