THE TWO loan players who made debuts for Orient in Tuesday night's 2-0 win want to stay at Brisbane Road.

Midfielder Nicky Adams and defender Matthew Briggs each started in the 2-0 win over Yeovil Town.

The pair are meant to stay for just a month, but each said he wants to prolong the loan move.

Leicester City man Adams said: “I'm enjoying it down here. I'm here for a month but if I'm playing and doing well I can hopefully extend it, because I don't want to go back and be sitting on the bench.

“The Saturday game (versus Bristol Rovers) getting called off might have been a bit of a blessing in disguise” he added.

“I got here on Thursday and so got a couple of more days training and getting to know the lads. They've been brilliant.”

Fulham youngster started at centre-back in place of Ben Chorley, who was banned.

He looked composed, but will face sterner tests than that offered up by Yeovil.

“It's good experience and good to be playing in the first team for once” Briggs said.

“I want to get experience as I haven't played a lot this season.

I feel I've settled in fine and they're a good bunch of lads who talk to me a lot.

Hopefully if it all goes well, I can extend it for a bit longer to get some games in.”
