DAGENHAM & Redbridge boss John Still insists he will field his strongest side against Morecambe on Thursday for the second leg of their League Two play-off semi-final, despite leading 6-0 from the first game.
Josh Scott bagged four goals for the first time in his professional career and Paul Benson netted twice as the Daggers ran riot on Sunday to almost guarantee their place in the final at Wembley on Sunday, May 30, barring a miracle recovery from the Shrimps at Christie Park.
However, Still claims he is taking nothing for granted and hinted that he may stick with midfielder Peter Gain, who is one yellow card away from a suspension, which would cause him to miss the final, should Dagenham progress.
“Peter has got to be careful and look after himself,” Still told BBC Essex.
“But we'll be professional and I'll pick the strongest team I can.”
