MARK Arber insists Daggers can deal with free-scoring Adam Le Fondre of Rotherham Utd.
Skipper Arber thinks his team-mates can neutralise 30-goal Le Fondre at Wembley, on Sunday.
“If I do my job properly, hopefully he won’t get a sniff” said Arber.
“We have a good back four and a good keeper.
“I’ve had a good season and have experienced some good centre-forwards.
“He’s scored 30 goals for a reason. He’s a handful, but we have players in our side who can cause three-fold problems up front.
“I have to play my best. We’ll deal with him, they’ll try and deal with us and hopefully we’ll be better on the day”.
Arber expects the occasion will deliver as a stern test as the opposition.
“You have to be strong mentally. Fortunately, I think I am. If you’re strong in the head the body will take care of itself".
He admitted he gets goose bumps imagining the climb up the Wembley steps to lift the trophy as winning captain.
“But we have to produce on the day, or you will be doing interviews and talking about what might have been” said Aber.
“The team spirit at this football club is unbeatable. Let’s produce the performance we’re capable of”.
