Rotherham 1
Daggers 1

DAGENHAM & Redbridge head into half-time level after Paul Benson's superb strike was quickly cancelled out by a Ryan Taylor equaliser.

Taylor had seen three headers come close to finding their mark earlier on in the half, Tony Roberts saving twice and a third effort drifting past the post.

Romain Vincelot almost broke the deadlock in spectacular fashion but his acrobatic bicycle kick from 15 yards was brilliantly saved by Andy Warrington.

Danny Green brought the best out of the Millers stopper minutes later when his low driven free-kick from 20 yards was parried away from danger.

Benson it was who ensured Daggers took the lead in the 38th minute. He collected the ball from Damien McCrory's low cross and swivelled to curl the ball inside the far post.

However, the advantage did not last long, Taylor getting between two defenders to head past Roberts after Kevin Ellison was left unmarked to cross into the area.
