Players and staff of Dagenham and Redbridge FC basked in glory the day after they made the fairy tale came true.
On Monday, an open-top bus carried the play-off heroes from the Town Hall back to the home ground in Victoria Road, and fans lined the route in a carnival Bank Holiday celebration of the club's historic promotion into League One.
The ex non-league outfit derided by some as a Dog and Duck pub team beat Rotherham Utd 3-2 at Wembley in a pulsating match, on Sunday.
