Boreham Wood 0
Dagenham & Redbridge 4
DAGENHAM & Redbridge eased to a comfortable victory over Boreham Wood in their first pre-season friendly clash.
Phil Walsh got the ball rolling for John Still's men, with the manager experimenting with a blend of youngsters and squad players.
The striker planted a header into the net from Darren Currie's pinpoint corner after just seven minutes.
In a game which also included new signings Alex Osborn and Danny Green, Dagenham were seamlessly shifting through the gears, and it was Walsh who doubled the lead five minutes before the break, latching on to a through ball and finishing well.
Wood's Charlie Hunter headed into his own net for the third on 75 minutes and the scoring was rounded off by Hakeem Araba two minutes later, his stinging low shot finding the net off the post.
