DAGGERS lost 3-1 away to Dartford on Saturday.
Lee Wootton netted for John Still’s side on 43 minutes as the Legaue One side outfit fought back from an early 2-0 deficit.
But that was as good as it got for the Daggers at Princes Park.
Newly promoted Dartford, of the Conference South division, struck twice in the opening 30 minutes.
Daggers keeper Chris Lewington was beaten by Tom Bonner’s far post header on 19 minutes, and then was powerless to stop Elliot Bradbrook’s strike, soon afterwards.
Luke Wilkinson had spurned two chances as Daggers piled went on the attack, and Tony Evans clipped an effort wide.
The visitor's hit the net at last when Wootton converted a free-kick by Darren Currie.
Dartford held on after that and hit Daggers with 15 minutes to go when Ollie Berquez curled a winner from the edge of the box.
Next up on the pre-season trail for Dagenham and Redbridge is Bromley FC away, tomorrow (July 13.)
