NEARLY 80 players have had trials with Waltham Abbey FC in the past weeks, as the club prepares for life after relegation.
New boss Paul Wickingham has certainly had his hands full as he wittles down so many trialists into a squad of 22.
The game at Hertford FC today should give the young manager a chance to see how the players are shaping up as a unit capable of competing in Ryman one north, this season.
