Paul Wickenden wants to see more improvement from his Waltham Abbey side at AFC Sudbury on Saturday.
He told Guardian Series Sport: “Sudbury is a massive test for us. I think they will be there or thereabouts in the play-offs.
“They are a very good side without many clubs competing for players in the area. They also pay decent money."
The manager also warned against complacency with Abbey 10th in Ryman one, after a thumping 4-0 win over Tilbury last weekend.
“Everything is hunky-dorey at the moment as we are winning games.
“But the test will come and true characters will be revealed when we are not winning those games.
“Against Tilbury we were excellent from start to finish. They did everything I asked for.
“We hit the bar two times, once after 45 seconds and had three efforts cleared off the line. I think 4-0 flattered them by the end. We could have got into double figures.”
