The Lee Valley Lions Juniors go into the Christmas break with a clear lead at the top of EIHA South.
Just one defeat so far this season, away to Cardiff, has seen the U18s squad go two points clear at the top ahead of the South Wales side and the Isle of Wight, who earned a 2-2 draw at the Lee Valley Ice Centre in the last game before the festive season.
Right wing Michael Crosse leads the league in scoring with 19 points so far this season, while the defensive line has been boosted by additions.
Netminder Will Sharpe shared stopper duties with Alexandra Prince in the draw with Isle of Wight which saw power forwards Janus Hutcheon and Joshua Irish find the back of the net for the young Lions.
The nucleus of the side comes from the U16s squad that reached the play-offs last season. The team face Kent's Invicta Dynamos on January 9th at the Lee Valley Ice Centre hoping to take their good form into 2011.
