DAGENHAM & Redbridge gave their survival chances a shot in the arm with a vital victory at Hartlepool on Saturday.
Striker Gavin Tomlin struck five minutes from time, turning in a Jon Nurse cross from close range to hand the Daggers all three points.
Despite the result John Still's men remain second-bottom in League One, but they have closed the gap to safety to five points, ahead of the visit of MK Dons on Saturday.
