WALTHAM Forest FC will not return home as promised, after another twist in a lengthy relocation saga.

The club does not have the vital document to show the Ryman League to greenlight its move back into the borough.

As a result, the club will not keep its pledge to quit its temporary home in Ilford for Wadham Lodge in Walthamstow, this season.

Mystery surrounds the exact reasons, but the club was this week adamant that it is not to blame for the latest delay.
