DAGENHAM & Redbridge suffered a disappointing defeat in their battle for survival in League One on Saturday, going down 2-0 at Tranmere Rovers.
John Still's men travelled to Prenton Park at the weekend hoping to drag Rovers back into the relegation dogfight. However, goals from Enoch Showunmi and Ian Goodison secured the points for the hosts.
Dagenham sit just a point above the drop zone, ahead of Walsall and Bristol Rovers.
