WOODFORD dropped out of London One North after being thumped in their final game of the season at Ruislip, 70-23.

The Highams men ended up propping up the division, and will now be relegated to London Two North East.

In the end, Woodford went out with a whimper, as they were thrashed in their final game of the season.

Chingford could not end on a high note, either, as they were dispatched comfortably by league champions Westcliff.

The Waltham Way outfit were seen off 39-0 on Saturday, and were left to reflect on a miserable second half of the campaign.

Eton Manor, meanwhile, did manage to go out with a bang, overcoming Colchester 26-15 to finish in the security of mid-table.
