Dagenham and Redbridge’s Carling Cup woe continued against Bournemouth as the Daggers fell to a 5-0 defeat.
The result meant the Daggers have yet to make it past the first round of the competition since being promoted back into the Football League.
The Cherries were dominant in the match but Dagenham did manage to hold out their League One opponent until the just after the half hour.
A well-constructed move lead to Mark Pugh firing home from 25-yards before Bournemouth added a second minutes later when Shaun Cooper beat keeper James Shea in the Daggers goal.
Dagenham found it hard to get into the game and the second half began in the same fashion as the first.
Liam Feeney then trebled the score, latching on to a through ball from Pugh before smashing home from close range.
With the game drawing to a close the Daggers were punished twice in quick succession.
Lyle Taylor first broke through to comfortable beat Shea before rounding off the win in injury-time after another good pass from Pugh.
