A martial arts school is set to hold an open day for residents on Bank Holiday Monday.
Masters Academy offers sessions for all people aged 5-55, with over 30 classes a week including kickboxing, yoga and mixed martial arts.
Chief instructor and owner, Matthew Chapman, said: "This is a chance for people to come and take a look at our full time academy and to speak to our team of black belt instructors."
He added: "With the recent unrest self protection has come to the forefront of many people’s minds.
“Martial arts training develops effective self defence skills whilst building high levels of fitness and confidence."
All are welcome to attend and those who decide to give martial arts a try will receive a two week training pass.
The event will be held between 10am-1pm at Unit C2, Seedbed Centre, Langston Road.
