Leyton Orient have today won their bid for a judicial review into the Olympic Park Legacy Company’s decision to award the Olympic Stadium to West Ham.
A hearing today found in favour of the Brisbane Road club as well as Tottenham who were thought to be dropping their legal bid after talks with the office of London Mayor Boris Johnson.
Orient had their initial bid for a judicial review turned down, with judge Mr Justice Davis telling them they had no grounds for review.
Their Brisbane Road stadium lies within a mile of the Olympic Park and the club are concerned about the effect of having the Hammers move closer to them.
A full judicial review will now be held on Tuesday, October 18.
