A late Sam Winnall goal was enough for Hereford to secure a 1-0 win against Dagenham and Redbridge in League Two.
In a fairly even game Winall’s 85th minute strike was all that separated the two teams but Daggers boss John Still felt his side should have had a penalty.
Hereford had an early chance when Simon Clist forced Dagenham keeper Chris Lewington into action before he went close with a deflected strike which hit the crossbar.
Oliver Lee had the best opportunity for the visitors but could only send his effort wide.
But the Bulls grabbed the win when Winnall collected the ball and advanced from the halfway line before firing into Lewington’s goal.
