A fantastic goal from Billy Bingham secured Dagenham & Redbridge a 1-1 draw with Crawley Town and secured the Daggers League Two status.
Former Dagenham loanee Charlie Wassmer put the Reds in front 18 minutes into the contest as he turned home a cross from Scott Davies.
Promotion chasing Crawley should’ve extended their advantage late into the opening 45 minutes as Gary Alexander shot wide.
On the stroke of half-time the Daggers levelled. There didn’t appear much threat when Bingham collected the ball near the halfway line but he moved forward and unleashed a 30 yard strike past Michel Kuipers.
In the second period Alexander missed two further chances to put his side back in front while Brian Woodall came close for John Still’s men.
Dagenham had the final opportunity of the contest but Abu Ogogo’s strike from the edge of the box was wide.
