There was success for a young Eton Manor side as they came away victorious from the prestigious Middlesex 7's Club Cup.
The team travelled across London to the Richmond Athletic Ground and started well, winning all their group matches to move into the semi-finals.
In the last four they faced guest side and favourites to win the cup, Mill Fields O.B. They had an array of top sevens players and had scored plenty of tries throughout the tournament.
However, Mill Fields never managed to get into a rhythm as Manor began at a blistering pace and raced into a commanding lead.
The East London side continued to control the contest and ran out 38-10 winners to progress into the final.
Manor faced off against Hammersmith & Fulham and the match followed a similar pattern to the semi-final.
Playing some scintillating rugby of pace and support, Manor ran out easy winners 33-12 winners to take home the trophy.
Eton Manor next seven’s tournament is at Woodford RFC this Saturday.
