Loic Remy is due in London for talks with Spurs this week, according to The Sun.
The French international recently suggested he would be looking to stay with Marseille, but Tottenham are believed to have renewed their interest.
Remy has netted 12 times for the mid-table side this season.
However, Marseille have told him to cancel his visit to Spurs, with the club wanting to agree a fee first, according to French-based football writer Matt Spiro.
