Wanstead and Snaresbrook eased to a seven-wicket home win over Ardleigh Green in the Premier Division.

The hosts won the toss and decided to bowl first. A superb start by them saw Zain Shahzad take the first three wickets. He was the pick of their bowlers as he returned figures of four for 25. Ardleigh Green were all out for 157 in 44.5 overs. Maurice Chambers, Adam Lord and Petrus Hattingh each too two wickets apiece for Wanstead.

Chambers was in superb form with the bat as he scored an unbeaten 82 as Wanstead reached the target for the loss of three wickets. Arfan Akram hit a knock of 37 while Hamza Ahmed hit 21 in a comfortable Wanstead victory.

In Division One, Fives and Heronians defeated Chingford by 31 runs.

Batting first, Fives managed to score a total of 190 for eight. Christopher White top scored with an unbeaten 41 while Phillip Apps hit 33 for the visitors. Shaun McMurray was the pick of the bowlers takintg three for 24.

Chingford could only manage 159 all out with Nick Shawyer faring best with a total of 37. But Jamie Porter was in top form for Fives and Heronians as his haul of four for 24.

Old Parkonians cruised to a 181-run win over Woodford Green in Division Three.

After being put into bat, Old Parkonians ran up an impressive total of 242 for nine. James Foley top scored with an unbeaten 69 and Rizwan Sadiq impressed with a knock of 66. Kirandeep Bansal chipped in with 25 in a strong innings from Parkonians.

A miserable batting display from Woodford Green saw them skittled out for just 61 in 21.3 overs. David Hawkes opened with 16 but his team-mates produced nothing of note as they collapsed to a heavy defeat. Ejaz Khan was on form with the ball as he took four for 17 while haris Khan returned figures of three for 24.
