There was a strong showing from East London Runners at the Wanstead Flats 5km as three club members finished in the top four positions.
First home was Thomas Grimes who set a new personal course best time of 17.25. Finishing third overall was Mark Boulton in 18.22 while Patrick Brown was fourth in 18.33.
Richard Potter (21.16) claimed eighth position while there was a new personal best for Ashley Sarangi (21.33) in ninth.
Keiran Brown (23.57) crossed the line in 24th place and Katherine Harris was 41st in 26.15.
Jayne Browne (27.35) was home in 47th, Dan Spinks (29.30) was 57th while one place behind was Mark Wyatt in 29.31.
Elsewhere, Jamie Xavier was in action at Regents Park in the superhero 5km. He ran well and crossed the line in second place with a time of 19.41.
Derek Wright was the club’s only representative at the Valentines Park 5km and finished 17th in 21.17.
At the Halstead and Essex Marathon Robert Heppell performed well to finish in 143rd. He came home in 3.43.06.
Mick Wilson crossed the line in 3.49.34 to claim 190th position while Colin Purvis (3.55.59) was 232nd.
Richard Mainwaring (4.19.27) finished in 360th, Steven Bywater (4.28.57) secured 422nd while Bridget Gibson was 467th.
