Spurs and Ajax are yet to agree a fee for defender Jan Vertonghen, according to the Daily Mail.
Tottenham are thought to be willing to pay £7m for the Belgian defender, who has a year left on his contract with Frank de Boer’s side, but the Dutch giants are believed to want £9m.
The 25-year-old was a guest at White Hart Lane last weekend with his agent as he watched the north Londoners beat their capital counterparts Fulham 2-0.
