Wanstead and Snaresbrook earned a six-wicket victory over Shenfield in the Premier Division.

After winning the toss, Shenfield scored a respectable 224 all out with Maurice Chambers picking up four for 42.

Wanstead opener John Chambers led the side to the win with an unbeaten 86 and Arfan Akram struck 82 in their total. Christian Burgess added 26 as Wanstead reached the target for the loss of just four wickets.

South Woodford eased to a six-wicket win over Colchester and East Essex.

Colchester were put into bat and a five-wicket haul from Shaun Gymer helped bowl them out for 149 in 45.1 overs. Harry Neicho impressed with the bat hitting 57 and 24 from Joe Craddock sealed a comfortable win for the hosts.

Woodford Wells slumped to an eight-wicket defeat to Ilford at Valentines Park.

After winning the toss, Woodford mustered a total of 171 for nine. The openers struggled but the lower order fared better with Zain Iqbal hitting 36 and Rory Ellison struck 42.

Woodford Wells' bowlers failed to make any inroads as Ilford cruised to the target for the loss of just two wickets in 38.5 overs.

In Division One, Chingford claimed a 95-run win over Southend on Sea & EMT.

Chingford's decision to bat after winning the toss worked a treat as they ran up a score of 269 for four. Ben MacGregor was their match winner as he hit a superb century (125) for the home side.

Southend were always up against it and their effort came up short as they were skittled out for 174. MacGregor's superb afternoon continued with three wickets for 19 while there were two apiece for Lenny Daniels and Nick Shawyer.

Fives and Heronians lost by eight wickets to Upminster. The team were all out for 168 and Upminster had few problems chasing down the total.

Loughton suffered a 136-run defeat to Hornchurch.

A tough time in the field saw Hornchurch run up a total of 319 for nine.

In reply, Farid Butt scored 46 and Bilal Butt was in excellent form hitting 85 but the rest of the side struggled and they were out for 183 in 37.2 overs.

Woodford Green lost to Harlow Town by five wickets in Division Three.

Anthony Palmer top scored for Woiodford with 41 and Sean Martin notched 37 in their total of 186 all out.

David Hawkes picked up two for 34 but Harlow eased to the target with five wickets in hand.

Epping were on the wrong end of a 155-run thumping at the hands of Old Brentwoods.

The visitors struggled to contain Old Brentwoods as they hit 371 for six from their explosive innings.

Opener Dan Twitchett hit 40 while David Stokoe scored 55 but it was not enough as Epping fell well short on 216 all out.

Old Parkonians crashed to an eight-wicket defeat at home to Billericay.

Their choice of batting first backfired as a limp effort saw them bowled out for 123 in 28.2 overs. Only opener Hermes Solomonidies came out of it with credit with a respectable knock of 52.

Billericay were never troubled faced with such a small target and they sealed victory after just 26.3 overs.
