Talented young snooker players Ben Finch and Peter Devlin both claimed victory at competitions held at the Upton Park Snooker Centre over the weekend.
Devlin, who boasts countless competition victories throughout his young career, was in action on Saturday as he came away first in two tournaments. The first was a six red ball competition before the 15-year-old defeated 20 other competitors to claim a £200 prize in the normal format.
In Sunday’s competition, Finch faced off against 64 other players. Despite giving up 60 points due to handicap in certain matches, he managed to take the top prize of £495.
Both players are coached by Josh Raja and practice at the Hurricane Snooker Room, in Walthamstow.
