Chingford golfer Luke Carter won the chance to play with Ryder Cup star Ian Poulter on Monday.
Carter secured the exclusive opportunity to play at the Seventh Ian Poulter Invitational.
The talent plays at Hadley Wood Golf Club and has a handicap of five. He joined 100 rising stars at the challenging Marquess Course at Woburn Golf Club. Carter managed a gross score of 86 and a nett total of 81 at the event.
Players received one-on-one time with the European Tour professional as he toured the course to give hands-on professional guidance during the afternoon’s ‘IJP Clinic’.
Poulter said: "It’s always such a special day to be able to get some of the best junior golfing talent together and give them an opportunity I never had. I love being out on the course with the kids, being able to chat with them and seeing their genuine enthusiasm for the game.
"It’s a great experience for the juniors, a really refreshing day for me and one I look forward to every year."
North Chingford's Ashleigh Greenham also took part in the Invitational and scored a gross 79 and nett total of 80.
