East London Runners club made it a clean sweep of all the medals at the Wanstead Flats 5km event last Saturday.
Thomas Grimes finished first with a time of 18.07, closely followed by Patrick Brown who finished runner-up two seconds later.
Mark Wyatt completed the one-two-three, coming in third in a time of 19.22 and Andrew Baxter wasn’t far behind as he finished fifth with a time of 20.07.
Other notable performers included Lee Wollaston (17th), Celia Payaneeandee (30th), David Wyatt (31st), Emiko Priest (41st) and Fiona Day (43rd).
Carrine Jay was the third fastest lady in the Epping Rotary Copped Hall 5km run on Sunday with a time of 39.42.
Michael Rose recorded a time of 43.34 while Sheila Kennedy also ran a very respectable 50.56.
Manjit Singh came fifth in the Valentines Park 5km run with a time of 20.01 and he was closely followed by Derek Wright who came 12th with a time of 21.54.
Saheb Yousefi completed the Clarendon Marathon in 3. 42.29 seconds which was good enough for 37th place while in the Mablethorpe Marathon Peter Hatley recorded a time of 3.30.05 to come 48th.
Juliet Bryant came 1048th in the Southend Classic 10km event with a time of 1.03.36 while the Royal Parks Half Marathon saw personal best times of 1.32.27 for Alex Haward and 1.47.44 for Tom Woods.
In the same event Jamie Xavier ran 1.36.55 and Katherine Jones came clocked in at 1.58.24.
