Leyton Orient boss Russell Slade felt his side had the chances to get a result from their 2-0 home defeat to Colchester United this evening.

Goals from Anthony Wordsworth and Ian Henderson sent the O's to their fourth league defeat in five matches but Slade believes the game could have gone their way.

Slade said: "I thought we created the three best chances of the evening. Ryan Brunt had an opportunity in the first period.

"The opportunity that was taken away from us when Scott Wagstaff scored and it was disallowed for offside but was a goal. Then Dave Mooney should do a lot better from the header late on. He's come on and done really well but I think he should bury the header.

"I think they were three wonderful opportunities that we've had tonight and there were others as well. We were against a strong Colchester side that played well but the chances were there for us as well tonight."
