Leyton Orient boss Russell Slade insisted Kevin Lisbie was the catalyst for their performance after they thrashed Carlisle United 4-1 this afternoon.

The O's netted four times in the first half to sink the hosts and secure their biggest away win of the season.

Lisbie did not get on the scoresheet but had a hand in the goals and formed an excellent partnership with David Mooney who struck twice.

Slade said: "He [Lisbie] was definitely the catalyst for our performance. I thought we looked a real threat going forward. Some great deliveries into the box caused Carlisle a lot of problems and we scored some smart goals and produced good movement.

"It was a sloppy goal we gave away, but we got a great response with a second and, not long after, a third goal.

"Carlisle played with a lot of spirit in the second half, but we remember when we were struggling to get a result and decisions weren't going our way. Football is like winter and summer. You have to make those summers last."
