Fulham midfielder Alex Smith has joined Leyton Orient on loan until January.
The 21-year-old, who can also play in defence, has spent 11 years as a youngster with the Premier League club.
Smith will go straight into the squad for the O's home clash with Preston on Saturday.
Orient have won their last four games and Smith will be hoping to make a decent impression for the League One club in the run-up to Christmas.
