Leyton Orient have appointed Andrea Pressenda as head of communications and relationships manager.
Pressenda was initially named as the O's technical director but he has now switched and taken on this role. It will entail building media relations and the strategy of the club.
It is understood there are no plans to bring anyone else in to take on the technical director position.
The 35-year-old is a journalist and has worked for Sky Sports, Sport Uno, SSC Napoli, Piuenne, Nuvolari TV, Mondadori, Canale 21 and Agon Channel.
The O's have also brought former goalkeeper coach Rob Gagliardi back to the club as head of recruitment.
He has experience in talent identification in both Italy and in the UK, having worked as a scout for Serie A club AC Chievo Verona.
